Precision Optical Component Capacity Up 30%: Smart Factory Transformation Delivers Results
Yorkey announced the successful completion of the digital upgrade of its global manufacturing bases in Q4 2023. By introducing AI vision inspection and automated assembly systems, we have not only significantly improved product precision but also achieved a leap in production capacity.
This upgrade covers three core production lines at the main Dongguan plant, deploying a total of 24 advanced machine vision systems and completing full integration of the MES system. After six months of trial operation, the overall yield rate improved to 99.2%, with estimated annual cost savings exceeding RMB 8 million.
Looking ahead, Yorkey plans to expand the scope of its smart upgrade to its Vietnam and India production bases in 2024, continuing to drive quality through technology and provide globally competitive manufacturing services to optical customers worldwide.
Well-Received at International Optoelectronics Expo: Showcasing Next-Generation Laser Scanning Modules
At this year's International Optoelectronics Expo, Yorkey showcased its newly developed high-speed laser scanning solution. The technology demonstrated exceptional competitiveness in industrial scanning and autonomous driving applications, attracting inquiries from numerous leading international manufacturers.
The YSM-3000 laser module showcased at the event achieves a scanning speed of 50,000 times per second with a positioning accuracy better than +/-2um, and has completed multiple international standard certifications. Over 40 international customers held in-depth discussions on-site, with potential orders expected to exceed USD 3 million.
Yorkey plans to begin mass production of this series in Q1 2024, while simultaneously launching business development efforts in the North American and European markets to further expand its influence in the high-end optoelectronics market.
